Description

From the murky depths of a sunken kingdom, the Shrimp Knight emerges — trident in claw, shell-shield raised, and absolutely no intention of explaining itself.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Shrimp Knight 01 from Galaad Miniatures, and it is exactly what it sounds like: a heavily hunched crustacean humanoid clad in battered armour, clutching a long trident and bearing a broad chitinous shield. The sculpt leans into a wonderfully strange silhouette — the figure stoops forward with an almost predatory hunch, its elongated shrimp-like head dipping low, legs braced as though readying a charge or sizing up a threat. The detailing on the shell plating, belted torso, and segmented limbs is crisp and characterful, and the trident is a beautifully proportioned weapon that reads clearly at tabletop scale. Shown here as an unpainted grey resin render, the sculpt is rich with surface texture — from the ridged carapace to the layered armour straps — making it a rewarding mini to paint or a striking display piece straight from the base.

Whether you're running a nautical campaign, an Underdark encounter with aberrant wardens, or a homebrew faction of deep-sea knights-errant, this mini brings something genuinely unusual to the table. It works equally well as a monstrous enemy, a bizarre NPC, or — for the adventurer brave enough to play one — a wildly memorable player character.

Suits adventurers who:

  • Need an aberrant creature with genuine character and strong visual presence
  • Are running aquatic, coastal, or Underdark encounters
  • Want a conversation-starting display piece as much as a gaming mini
  • Love weird, lore-rich sculpts that don't fit neatly into any monster manual entry

Encounter Hook:
The party is tasked with investigating a series of disappearances along a coastal fishing village — locals describe armoured figures emerging from the surf at low tide, dragging nets and boats beneath the waves. When the adventurers wade out to meet them, they find a detachment of Shrimp Knights holding the waterline like soldiers, tridents levelled, waiting to see if these newcomers come in peace — or on the menu.
