Description

The village boundary is marked not by walls of stone, but by a ring of sharpened stakes — and atop each one, a warning that leaves no room for misunderstanding.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

These short palisade sections bring a grim, lived-in brutality to any settlement, warcamp, or wilderness encounter. Rough-hewn wooden stakes lashed together with rope, their tips sharpened to savage points, and mounted at intervals with the helmeted and bare-faced heads of those who tested the boundary and lost. Whether the work of an orc warlord, a tribal chieftain, or something far older and worse, these palisades tell a story the moment they hit the table.

The set includes three sections of varying width — a short two-stake piece, a mid-length section, and a fuller wide section — each mounted on a sturdy terrain base. The rope binding detail is crisp, the grain of the wood reads clearly at 32mm scale, and the heads themselves range from bare-faced humanoids to visored helmets, adding variety and grim character to your battlefield edge. Equally at home on a gaming table or in a dark fantasy diorama display.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are building encounter maps for tribal settlements, bandit camps, or cursed villages
  • Want scatter terrain that immediately signals danger and narrative to players
  • Are creating diorama scenes with a dark or low-fantasy aesthetic
  • Collect terrain pieces for display alongside their painted warbands

Encounter Hook:
The party crests the hill to find the goblin encampment ringed with palisades — and on three of the stakes, they recognise the armoured helms of the missing patrol they were hired to find. Initiative rolls. Now.

This set is scaled to 32mm and comes as three separate terrain sections, each mounted on an integrated base. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — use as-is for a raw bone-resin aesthetic or paint up for full effect. Some minor marks from support removal may be present; these are easily cleaned up before painting.
