This variation of the Shopkeeper sculpt presents a bald, portly merchant with arms spread wide in a theatrical welcoming gesture — the universal body language of a man who wants your coin and would very much like you to believe you're getting a bargain. He wears a long, buttoned coat cinched at the waist with a thick rope belt, baggy trousers tucked into stout shoes, and sports a wiry moustache beneath an expressive, slightly exasperated face. Wrist wraps suggest he's done his share of lifting crates, and the whole pose radiates the confident charm of someone who has talked himself out of — and into — more than a few difficult situations.

This is Shopkeeper 01, the broad, open-armed variant of the series. If you're building out a market district, a trading post, or a city's merchant quarter, this is the figure that says "welcome to my establishment" before immediately upselling the party on a suspiciously overpriced healing potion. The sculpt has excellent surface detail across the coat stitching, rope texture, and facial features — all of which reward careful painting with washes and drybrushing.

Whether you need a recurring contact for your campaign's black market, an honest (or dishonest) general goods vendor, or simply a colourful urban NPC to populate your town encounters, this figure brings a distinct personality to the table.

Great for adventurers who:

• Need a memorable merchant NPC with bags of character
• Are building a market, trading district, or tavern scene
• Want an expressive humanoid figure that paints up with satisfying results
• Run urban campaigns where NPCs are as important as monsters
• Collect well-characterised townsfolk and civilian miniatures

Encounter Hook: The party has been sent to recover a stolen shipment — and their only lead points to the most affable pawnbroker in the lower market. He greets them with arms wide and a smile wider, insisting he knows nothing about any stolen goods, even as one of his shop boys quietly edges toward the back door with a suspiciously heavy sack.
