The Shoggoth is one of fantasy's most visceral horrors: a roiling, semi-amorphous mass of flesh, tentacles, and teeth, studded with lidless eyes and crowned with gaping maws lined with curved, blade-like fangs. This sculpt captures that wrongness in extraordinary detail — multiple tooth-filled mouths yawning open at different angles, a writhing mass of tentacles coiling outward from a bulging, pustule-dotted body, and a trailing skirt of fleshy, dragging tendrils below. Every surface is textured with the suggestion of something organic and deeply wrong. This is not a monster that charges — it flows, it engulfs, and it consumes.

In D&D 5e terms, the Shoggoth sits firmly in Aberration territory — a creature of the Far Realm or the Underdark's deepest reaches, something that predates the gods and cares nothing for their wars. On the tabletop it carries genuine weight: place it on the board and your players will feel it before they roll initiative.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a Far Realm horror or Underdark apex predator for their campaign
  • Are running cosmic horror, Lovecraftian, or aberration-themed encounters
  • Want a centrepiece display piece that rewards close inspection
  • Are building a collection of creatures that genuinely unsettle players

Encounter Hook:
The expedition had been mapping the lower caverns for three days when they found the first set of empty boots — still laced, standing upright, a smear of something glistening on the stone beside them. Whatever left those boots behind is still down here. And from the sound echoing up the tunnel, it found the party before they found it.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces and can be attached with super glue — the base is decorative and the model interacts with it, so we recommend displaying it together for the full effect. Some minor clean-up from the print process may be needed, though we quality-check every piece before it leaves us.
