Description
Before the warlock could finish the binding rite, the Shator simply smiled — because it had never been bound at all.

The Shator is no mere summoned grunt. This is a demon of rank and terrible intelligence — a Gehreleth from the bleak prison-plane of Carceri, bloated with dark authority and wielding its trident like a sceptre of suffering. The sculpt captures every detail of its grotesque majesty: a wide-jawed maw crammed with jagged teeth thrown open in a roar, a thick and heavily scaled torso draped in a ragged skirt of hide, and a pair of broad feathered wings spread wide behind its hulking frame. One hand grips a tall, bone-wrapped trident tipped with wicked prongs; the other reaches forward, claws splayed — whether in command or to seize the nearest throat is entirely unclear.
This is a miniature that demands table presence. The layered texture work across its hide — overlapping scales on the belly, coarse fur around the shoulders, ropy muscle along the arms — gives painters a wealth of surface detail to work into, while the dramatic open pose reads clearly at arm's length from across the battlemat. Equally at home in a display cabinet or anchoring a climactic boss encounter, the Shator is the kind of piece adventurers and Dungeon Masters alike will stop to look at twice.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding boss monster for a planar travel or Underdark arc
- Are building encounters around Gehreleth lore or Carceri-themed campaigns
- Want a centrepiece fiend with the table presence to match its stat block
- Paint and collect large creature miniatures for display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the lowest vault of the corrupted temple and finds not the demon prince they were sent to banish — but its warden. The Shator has been holding the gate open deliberately for weeks, and the only leverage it will accept is something no mortal should be willing to give.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue is all that's needed to assemble them. Some models are designed to interact with their decorative base, so we recommend using the included base for the best finished result. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming.
