Few creatures embody raw, primal threat quite like a shark — and this sculpt by The Toadstool Weaver captures that menace with a cartoonish ferocity that works brilliantly at the tabletop. Two poses are included: one viewed from the side in a classic cruising posture, jaws parted to reveal row upon row of jagged teeth, and one angled head-on — the shark's blunt snout and wide grin aimed directly at whoever is unfortunate enough to be in the water. Both sculpts have a stylised, characterful quality that reads clearly at gaming distances without losing any of the creature's instinctive threat.
Whether you're running a nautical campaign, an underwater dungeon, a river ambush, or a coastal hex-crawl, sharks are one of those encounter pieces that immediately shift the mood of a table. Drop one of these into the water and your adventurers will start reconsidering their swim speed very quickly.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Run nautical, coastal, or underwater D&D campaigns
- Need Beast-type encounter minis for 5e or other TTRPGs
- Want a characterful aquatic predator for display shelves and dioramas
- Are building a sea monster or ocean encounter collection
Encounter Hook:
The party's rowboat has sprung a leak two hundred metres from the reef. The cleric has already cast all their spells. And something has been circling — slowly, deliberately — since the fisherman's boat went silent at dawn. The water is warm. The water is very dark.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base arrives unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Both poses arrive ready for priming and painting, or use them straight from the box if you prefer. As with all hand-finished resin pieces, minor marks may occasionally be present despite our quality checks — these are simple to tidy up at home.
