Description

Something ancient and toothless of flesh but not of hunger rises from the lightless depths — a shark stripped to bone, still hunting.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is no natural predator. The Shark Skeleton is the grim remnant of one of the ocean's most feared hunters — ribcage exposed, fins fanned out like tattered sails, and that unmistakable maw still agape with rows of jagged teeth. Whatever dark magic or necromantic force animates it, it hasn't dulled the instinct to chase and kill. It just doesn't need flesh to do it anymore.

The sculpt captures the creature mid-glide, body angled with a restless, predatory energy. Every rib is individually defined, the spine articulated with eerie precision, and the skeletal pectoral fins retain enough detail to read clearly as shark anatomy — just stripped of everything soft. The hollow eye socket in the angular skull gives it a hollow, haunted quality that makes it genuinely unsettling at tabletop scale. This is a creature that belongs in cursed waters, sunken tombs, and the flooded passages of ruins that should have stayed buried.

Sculpted by MZ4250, whose enormous and beloved creature catalogue has furnished countless dungeon masters with the exact monster they needed and couldn't find anywhere else.

Suits adventurers who:

  • Run aquatic campaigns, sea-based adventures, or sunken dungeon scenarios
  • Need undead sea creatures for necromancer encounters or cursed ocean settings
  • Want a centrepiece creature that rewards careful painting — especially washes and dry-brushing on bone
  • Are building a nautical undead warband or encounter group
  • Collect unusual creature sculpts for display alongside painted sea-themed minis

Encounter Hook: The party's ship anchors above the wreck of the Pale Meridian — said to hold a merchant prince's ransom in gold. As the first diver surfaces, screaming and empty-handed, three pale shapes materialise from the deep. The Shark Skeletons don't eat. They don't tire. And they remember the smell of the ship that sank them.
