- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Slagsting is one of DM Stash's Shapeshifted Blood Hound variants, and this sculpt (pose 01 of the range) captures the creature mid-lunge — its jaws splayed wide to reveal row upon row of serrated teeth, a thick curling tusk hooking outward from a grotesquely enlarged maw, and a body that looks like it was assembled from several wrong animals at once. The ribbed, taut musculature across its haunches and spine speaks to something that was once a predator and has since become something worse. Pustules and exposed sinew texture the flanks, and the long segmented tail trails behind like an afterthought of evolution gone badly sideways.
This mini sits on a detailed rocky rubble base that grounds it firmly in a dungeon or blighted wilderness setting. Equally at home stalking a fetid lair as it is bursting through a sewer grate beneath a city, the Slagsting works as a solo boss encounter, a pack hunter alongside other mutated beasts, or a corrupted familiar for a warlock patron with very poor taste. Collectors will find the extreme anatomical detail — particularly across the jaw assembly and dorsal ridge — genuinely rewarding to paint, with deep recesses that hold washes beautifully.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run body-horror, plague, or mutation-themed campaigns
- Need a genuinely unsettling beast encounter for mid-tier parties
- Want a centrepiece monster that reads as dangerous before a single die is rolled
- Are building a display shelf dedicated to aberrant or corrupted creatures
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking missing livestock through a rotting fenland for two days when they find the remains — not eaten, but changed, something half-beast now pulling itself upright in the reeds ahead. The Slagsting has not noticed them yet, but it is tilting its ruined head as though it can smell the fear already.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic rocky base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the base has been sculpted to complement the pose, so we do recommend using it. The mini arrives fully cured and support-free, ready for priming and painting or for use straight from the box. Minor surface marks from the printing process may occasionally occur and are easily addressed with fine sandpaper or a craft knife.
