Description
It no longer resembles anything that was once a hound — sinew and bone have split apart, a single bloated eye has forced its way through the skull, and something else is wearing the carcass now.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Slagsting is not merely a beast gone feral — it is a creature mid-becoming, its form caught in the agonising moment between one horror and the next. The sculpt captures this with remarkable detail: a distended eye socket erupting from a split, spike-ridged skull; a writhing tendril curling out from the torso; multiple limbs in varying stages of wrongness; and a gaping maw beneath the base suggesting the creature has already consumed something — or someone. The whole composition rises from a mound of visceral detritus, skulls half-absorbed into the mass, as if the ground itself is part of the transformation.
Whether you're statting this out as an aberration, a warped monstrosity, or the grotesque end-stage of a cursed bloodline, the Slagsting brings genuine unease to the table. As a display piece, the layered sculpting rewards careful painting — the contrast between matted fur-like texture, exposed ribcage, and smooth bulging flesh gives painters a rich variety of surfaces to work across. This is pose 01 of the Shapeshifted Blood Hound 02 (Slagsting) range.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Run body-horror or aberration-heavy campaigns and want a centrepiece encounter creature
- Need a shapeshifter, cursed beast, or corrupted monster for a mid-to-high-level encounter
- Collect large, dramatically composed character pieces for display shelves
- Want a painting challenge with genuine textural variety across a single sculpt
Encounter Hook:
The village dog that went missing three weeks ago has come back — or something wearing its shape has. It sits at the edge of the firelight, perfectly still, watching the party's camp with that single enormous eye. When the ranger moves closer, the ground beneath it shifts, and they realise the mound it rests upon used to have a face.

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and its decorative base are supplied as separate pieces and can be secured with superglue — the base is designed to interact with the model, so we recommend attaching it before priming.
