Description

Something with too many jaws and too little mercy has picked up the party's scent — and it hasn't stopped running since.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Shapeshifted Blood Hound is a grotesque predator from the DM Stash Slagsting range, sculpted with the kind of visceral detail that makes a Dungeon Master grin and a player groan. This pose captures the creature mid-lunge, rearing up on its rocky base with three distinct heads — each wide open, each lined with curved, serrated fangs and curved tusks. The body is emaciated and monstrous in equal measure: taut sinew, exposed musculature, and ragged hide stretched over a powerful frame that suggests speed as much as savagery.

From the back, a second set of heads erupts from the shoulders — one howling skyward, one snapping downward — giving this creature a genuinely unsettling silhouette from every angle on the table. Whether you're running it as a warped aberrant hound, a fiendish familiar gone wrong, or the result of some particularly regrettable magical experiment, this sculpt earns its place in any encounter involving dread, teeth, and the kind of initiative rolls that make players go quiet. Equally striking as a painted display piece — the anatomy and surface texture reward careful brushwork.

A solid addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable, multi-headed beast encounter beyond a standard wolf or worg
  • Are building encounters around aberrant, fiendish, or magically corrupted creatures
  • Want a centrepiece monster that reads as dangerous from across the table
  • Enjoy ambitious painting projects with deep muscle and sinew detail to bring out
  • Collect creatures that look equally at home in a display cabinet or on a battlemap

Encounter Hook:
The ranger's Survival check revealed something troubling: the tracks circle the campsite three times before heading east — but the howl that just split the darkness came from the west. Something is herding the party, and the pit ahead was not there yesterday.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative rocky base are supplied as separate pieces and attach with superglue — the base has been sculpted to interact with the model's pose, so we recommend keeping them together for the best result. As with all hand-finished prints, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied up before priming.
