Shanti by Great Grimoire
Description
She wears the crocodile not as a trophy, but as kin — its jaws crown her head, its scales clad her hips, and its spirit moves through her spear arm like a current beneath dark water.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Shanti is a wildland warrior of formidable presence, sculpted with exceptional detail that rewards both the painter and the collector. Her long hair falls loose around a crocodile skull headdress, the beast's open jaws snarling above her brow. She kneels in a moment of coiled readiness, one hand gripping a tall bone-and-hide spear raised high, the other braced against her knee. Scaled hide wraps her lower body like armour grown rather than forged, and her base is alive with swamp debris — stones and water's edge beneath her bare feet. The sculpt captures both ferocity and ceremony, the sense of a warrior who belongs entirely to the wetlands she protects.
For Dungeon Masters, Shanti works brilliantly as a tribal guardian, a sworn protector of a sacred river, or a formidable neutral figure the party must win over before they can pass through her territory. For players, she's a compelling visual anchor for a Barbarian, Ranger, or Druid from a primal or marsh-dwelling culture. She's equally at home on a gaming table during an encounter or displayed as a centrepiece of a painted collection.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding NPC warrior to anchor a swamp, river delta, or primal wilderness arc
- Are playing or DMing a campaign with tribal factions, sacred beast cults, or wetland territory conflicts
- Want a character mini suited to a Barbarian or Ranger with a crocodilian or nature totem theme
- Collect and paint detailed character miniatures with rich surface texture and narrative detail
Encounter Hook:
The party's dugout scrapes to a halt in the shallows — ahead, a warrior kneels atop a half-submerged idol, spear raised to the sky, while the water around her breaks with the slow, deliberate movement of enormous shapes just beneath the surface. She turns her head. She was expecting them.
Shanti is printed at 32mm scale. The decorative base comes separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. She arrives unpainted and ready for priming — an excellent canvas for wetland earth tones, bone whites, and deep scale greens.
