It does not walk so much as surge forward — a lurching mass of fused bodies, each one still twitching, still reaching, bound together by necromantic will into something that was never meant to exist.

The Shambling Corpse Mound is one of those encounters that stops the table cold. This is no simple zombie or skeleton — it is a towering amalgamation of the dead, dozens of bodies knitted together into a single horrifying form. Skulls cluster along its forearm like a grotesque shield, reanimated humanoids claw their way from its shoulders and back, and it clutches a skull-tipped weapon with the terrible confidence of something that knows it cannot easily be killed. The base is strewn with bones and debris, as if the battlefield itself has already begun feeding it. Three different angles are captured across our product images — all digital renders showing the sculpt in full unpainted detail — and every view reveals fresh horrors: corpses impaled on its own mass, arms flung wide in mid-lurch, a face locked in bestial fury.
Whether you need a climactic boss for a necromancer's inner sanctum, a wandering horror for a plague-ravaged wilderness, or simply one of the most viscerally impressive display pieces in your collection, the Corpse Mound delivers the kind of presence that players will talk about long after the session ends. Equally at home on the tabletop or a display shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a large-scale undead boss monster for D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or any dark fantasy TTRPG
- Are running Ravenloft, a necromancer campaign, or a plague-horror arc
- Want a centrepiece display miniature that rewards careful painting
- Love a sculpt with genuine narrative weight baked into every detail
Encounter Hook:
The village's cemetery has been emptying for three nights running — not disturbed, not dug up, simply empty. On the fourth night, the party crests the hill to find out where the dead have gone. The Corpse Mound turns to face them, and they can still recognise the faces.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the sculpt is built to interact with its base, and the two work best displayed together. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible and any small marks can be tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
