Description

Something small and ancient watches from the roots of the elder oak — wearing feathers it did not earn and a skull it absolutely chose.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Shaman Opossum is one of those creatures that makes a Dungeon Master grin the moment it hits the table. Part beast, part ritualist, wholly unsettling — this sculpt captures a hunched opossum draped in layered feathers like a cloak of dark omens, with a small horned skull perched atop its head as a crown or fetish. Its clawed hands are spread, eyes wide and glassy, long tail trailing behind it. It reads immediately as something with power it shouldn't have, which makes it extraordinary for Feywild encounters, cursed woodland hexes, or as the unlikely herald of something much worse.

Whether you use it as a trickster spirit with an agenda, a shaman bound to a decaying fey court, or simply the strangest familiar a warlock ever inherited, this miniature brings a quality of weirdness that's hard to manufacture. On a display shelf it draws the eye; on a battlemat it draws questions — and that's exactly what a good mini should do.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Feywild campaigns or hexcrawls through cursed forests
  • Want an unusual, memorable NPC or spirit creature
  • Are building a collection of weird and wonderful fey fauna
  • Love painting detailed textures — feathers, fur, and bone all in one sculpt

Encounter Hook:
The village elder warned the party not to follow anything small into the forest at night. On the third evening, a feather-crowned opossum sits at the edge of the firelight, watching — and when the ranger tries to shoo it away, it speaks. It has a name. It has been waiting. It needs something retrieved from a barrow that no living person has entered in forty years, and it will not leave until someone agrees.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue — some sculpts interact with their base, so the base is well worth including. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or fine as a display piece straight from the box.
