This is Serving Wench 01 from Novaminis — the first variation in the series, depicted mid-stride with a laden tray raised high in one hand and a full tankard tucked under the other arm. Her dress is detailed with lace-textured fabric, a cinched belt, and layered skirts in motion, with sturdy buckled boots grounding the pose. The sculpt captures the confident, no-nonsense energy of someone who has dealt with adventurers before and is thoroughly unimpressed.
The serving tray she carries overhead holds a jug and multiple cups or flagons, making this an excellent piece for populating a busy inn common room. Whether she's Elminster's favourite local or the one NPC in your tavern who actually knows where the villain went, this miniature brings an ordinary scene to life with remarkable character detail.
As variation 01 in the series, this sculpt features a slightly upswept hairstyle and a forward-stepping pose that gives the mini a strong sense of movement. Other variants in the series offer different hair styles and subtle pose differences — worth collecting them all for a fully-staffed tavern.
A good pick for adventurers who:
- Need credible, well-sculpted NPC staff for tavern and inn encounters
- Run urban or town-based campaigns where atmosphere matters
- Want to build out a detailed Forgotten Realms or Ravnica tavern scene
- Enjoy painting detailed civilian miniatures as display pieces
- Are running a mystery, intrigue, or social-heavy campaign arc
Encounter Hook: The party has been waiting at the Broken Cask Inn for their contact for two hours. This particular server has refilled their drinks three times without being asked, and each time she's paused just a fraction too long near the table. When the contact finally arrives — dead, dragged through the back door — she's the only one who doesn't look surprised.
