Description

From the fetid depths of Kreyvos, where moss-draped trees swallow the light and ancient reptilian empires still hold sway, Sskareth the Serpentman raises his carved staff — and the swamp itself seems to answer.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Sskareth is a serpentfolk shaman of unmistakable menace — part sorcerer, part priest, all predator. Sculpted by Primal Collectibles as part of the Tales of Kreyvos range, this miniature captures every coil of cold intelligence the character demands. His reptilian head is thrown forward mid-incantation, fanged jaw parted, while one clawed hand grips a gnarled ceremonial staff wreathed in knotwork carving and the other stretches open in a gesture of terrible arcane authority.

His layered robes — worn and tattered at the hem — are engraved with geometric glyphs and hieratic symbols that speak of an ancient serpentine civilisation. A heavy chain belt cinches flowing fabric panels at the waist, and his scaled feet grip the broken stone base with the casual confidence of a creature entirely at home in ruins. Three distinct sculpts are available, each presenting Sskareth from a different angle or with a subtle variation in stance, giving Dungeon Masters and painters alike a choice of which version best suits their vision of this character.

Whether you're building a serpentfolk cult for your players to unravel, placing a rival shaman at the heart of a jungle ruin encounter, or simply adding a richly detailed creature to your display shelf, Sskareth delivers the visual weight a character of his standing deserves.

A choice pick for adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding serpentfolk spellcaster or cult leader for a swamp or jungle campaign
  • Are running a yuan-ti, naga, or lizardfolk-adjacent encounter and want genuine narrative presence on the table
  • Want a centrepiece miniature that rewards careful painting — the glyphs, scales, and robes offer a wealth of texture to work with
  • Collect creature minis from independent artists and appreciate a sculpt that goes beyond the generic

Encounter Hook: The party follows a trail of shed scales deep into the Kreyvos wetlands, eventually finding the ruins of a serpentine temple half-swallowed by black water. At its centre, Sskareth stands over a bound village elder, staff raised, chanting in a language that makes the party's spellcaster's nose bleed. The ritual must be stopped — but the shaman has not come alone, and the water around the temple is beginning to move.
