Before the party even spotted the ruined temple, an arrow had already found its mark — loosed by a serpent warrior who had been watching from the shadows since they crossed the treeline.

This is pose 03 of our Yuan-Ti Serpent Warrior range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it brings a distinctly different threat to the battlefield compared to its melee-armed kin. Rearing upright on a coiled serpentine body, this cobra-headed warrior draws a longbow with practised precision — arrow nocked, arm steady, hood flared. A quiver of arrows sits strapped to its torso, and a secondary blade is slung across its back, suggesting a fighter equally at home switching between ranged and close combat. The overlapping scales across the full length of the body are rendered with exceptional depth, and the draped cloth at the waist adds a touch of civilised menace that marks Yuan-Ti out as something more calculating than a simple beast.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen idol from a temple complex — but as they enter the outer courtyard, they notice the bodies of the previous retrieval party pinned to the stonework by arrows. From the treeline surrounding the ruin, three Yuan-Ti archers emerge from concealment, already drawn and targeting the softest-looking member of the group.
Scaled at 32mm, this miniature can be ordered with or without a plain black base. The base is supplied unattached and can be fixed easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks may occasionally remain from the printing process — these are straightforward to tidy up before priming. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready for paint.
