Description

Arms spread wide in absolute dominion, Vyranth the Serpent King does not beg obedience from his followers — he simply expects it, and the coiling cobra at his raised fist reminds them why.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Vyranth is no mere warlord. He is the Serpent King — prophet, sovereign, and living embodiment of a cult that has wound itself through the world of Kreyvos like a serpent through old stonework. This bust captures him at the height of his authority: robes cascading from broad shoulders, elaborate serpent-glyph vestments carved across his chest, a great cobra rearing from his raised left fist while a thick serpent coils across his right shoulder. His expression is one of cold, utter certainty — the face of a man who has never once doubted his own divine right to rule.

The sculpt is dense with detail that rewards patient painters. The headdress bears a carved solar disc at its brow and is flanked by hieroglyph-panelled lappets that fall to his shoulders. His robes are embroidered with interlocking key-fret borders along the sleeves, and his wide belt buckle is formed from a striking hooded serpent in relief. A caduceus-like serpent staff emblem adorns the centre of his vestments, framed by all-seeing eye motifs that echo ancient priestly authority. The reverse of the bust shows the full sweep of his ceremonial cloak — flowing, heavy, and commanding — with the braided serpent draped across his back completing the silhouette.

As a display bust, Vyranth sits on a solid stepped plinth base with a studded rim, scaled to showcase the upper torso and face in full dramatic detail. He works equally well as the centrepiece of a painting competition entry, a shelf trophy for a completed Kreyvos campaign, or the physical stand-in for the big bad your players will never forget.

Vyranth suits adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding, lore-rich BBEG to anchor a serpent cult or desert-god campaign arc
  • Want a centrepiece painting project with exceptional sculptural texture across robes, scales, and ritual iconography
  • Are running Tales of Kreyvos and want the key villain rendered in the flesh
  • Collect display busts from independent fantasy sculptors
  • Prize character and gravitas in a villain over brute menace alone

Encounter Hook

The party finally breaches the inner sanctum of the Kreyvosi temple after days of navigating its poisoned corridors — only to find Vyranth already waiting, arms spread wide, the chamber's torchlight catching the scales of the cobra raised at his fist. He speaks before anyone can draw a weapon: "You arrived precisely when I foresaw you would. Step forward. I have a use for you yet." Whether he is sincere or simply buying time for the ritual below to complete is a question only the dice can answer.

Details

This is a large-scale display bust from the Tales of Kreyvos range by Primal Collectibles. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled if applicable, ready to prime and paint. The bust includes its own sculpted plinth base. Due to the scale and detail of this piece, it is primarily intended for display and painting rather than tabletop play, though it makes a formidable prop for dramatic reveal moments at the gaming table.
