Description

She rose from the shallows with a conch shell in her outstretched hand and a gaze that suggested she already knew the answer to whatever question you were about to ask.

  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

Mia Kay's Selkie is a figure caught between worlds — neither fully sea creature nor landlocked being, but something altogether more beguiling. Resting on a richly detailed base scattered with conch shells, starfish, and sand, she holds one hand open in a gesture that could be an offering or a warning, depending on how your campaign has been going. Her fish tail curls beneath her, fins spread wide, while her expression carries that particular knowing quality that separates a truly memorable NPC from a forgettable one.

For Dungeon Masters running coastal adventures, sea-faring campaigns, or any setting where the boundary between the natural world and the arcane grows thin, this sculpt lends itself to a remarkable range of roles — enigmatic guide, ancient guardian, Fey emissary, or the source of a curse that's been plaguing a fishing village for three generations. Equally at home on a display shelf alongside your painted collection, the sculpt's facial detail and textured base make it a rewarding painting project in its own right.

Suited for adventurers who:

  • Run coastal, oceanic, or island-hopping D&D campaigns
  • Need a compelling Fey or merfolk NPC with genuine presence
  • Want a centrepiece figure for a seaside encounter or underwater adventure arc
  • Enjoy painting sculpts with expressive faces and intricate basing
  • Collect fantasy miniatures for display as well as gameplay

Encounter Hook:
The village of Tidewatch hasn't seen a full catch in six weeks. The fishers whisper about a woman seen at dawn on the rocks beyond the breakwater — holding a conch shell out toward the sea, not speaking, not moving. When the party approaches at low tide, she turns to face them with an expression of mild disappointment, as though she expected better.

Scaled to 32mm. The base is a separate piece and can be attached with a small amount of glue. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or for display straight from the box. We quality check every miniature before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be tidied up easily before priming.
