Description

She does not rise to greet visitors. She does not need to — the scorpion beneath her throne does that for her.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Selket, the scorpion goddess of ancient myth, is rendered here in full regal menace: a queen draped in scale armour and ceremonial jewellery, seated upon a skull-adorned throne that rises from the back of a colossal scorpion. One hand is raised in a languid gesture of command, the other rests on the throne's armrest as though she has all the time in the world. Ancient hieroglyphic script runs along the base, and canopic jars are nestled beneath her seat — every detail speaking of a power older than the desert itself. The scorpion's segmented tail curves high above her, stinger poised, while its great claws splay wide across the sculpted base.

This is a miniature built for ceremony. Whether you use her as a god-like boss at the heart of a cursed necropolis, a monstrous noble holding court over desert-dwelling cultists, or a centrepiece for your display shelf, Selket commands attention from every angle. The rear of the sculpt is equally detailed — the scorpion's armoured carapace and brick-work base plinth are as carefully realised as the front-facing portrait.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable boss encounter in a desert tomb or Egyptian-inspired campaign arc
  • Are running a pantheon-themed adventure where divine antagonists walk the mortal world
  • Want a large-scale centrepiece that rewards close inspection from every angle
  • Are collectors seeking display-worthy sculpts with genuine character and mythic presence
  • Are Dungeon Masters building encounters around scorpionfolk, cult leaders, or ancient deities

Encounter Hook:
The party has navigated three trap-laden antechambers and translated enough glyphs to know the name carved above this final door: Selket, She Who Causes Throats to Breathe. When they push it open, the chamber is not empty. The throne at its centre is occupied, and the figure seated there has been waiting — not with urgency, but with the patience of something that has outlasted every civilisation that ever dared name her.
