Description
Something vast and ancient has breached the surface — and by the look of those jaws, it did not come up for air.

- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
The Seastrider Behemoth is the kind of creature that rewrites campaign lore the moment it appears. This bust captures the beast mid-roar: maw torn wide, rows of jagged teeth bared, and a hide thick with barnacle-like protrusions, pockmarks, and layered scales that speak to decades — perhaps centuries — spent in the lightless deep. The textural contrast between the rough, warted skin and the sharp, angular teeth gives painters an extraordinary range of surface types to work across, from wet-looking slick flesh to cracked, mineral-encrusted hide.
Mounted on a sculpted plinth with runic detailing at the base, this is a display piece built to command a shelf. The composition leans forward with real menace, making it equally compelling as a painter's project and as visual inspiration for Dungeon Masters building encounters around leviathans, krakens, or eldritch sea gods. Whether you're running a nautical campaign or simply want something imposing on your hobby desk, the Seastrider Behemoth earns its place.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Want a detailed bust that rewards hours of layered paintwork across varied textures
- Are building a display shelf of fantasy sea creatures or deep-water horrors
- Need striking visual reference or narrative inspiration for a leviathan, sea god, or ancient monstrosity in their campaign
- Collect display busts from independent sculptors with a distinct creature design aesthetic
Encounter Hook:
The party's ship has been becalmed for three days when the water around the hull begins to darken. A scholar aboard produces a hand-drawn sketch from a waterproof satchel — a creature with a pocked hide and a jaw wide enough to swallow the mast whole. "This was drawn two hundred years ago," she says. "The cartographer who drew it never made port." The Seastrider Behemoth doesn't announce itself. It simply rises.
Details
This is a display bust rather than a standard combat miniature, produced at large bust scale. It arrives unpainted and ready for priming. Supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece is quality checked before it leaves us — though minor surface marks are an inherent part of the printing process and can be cleaned up with standard hobby tools.
