This is pose 3 of our Sea Hag range from Novaminis, and it is the most unsettling of the lot. Where other sculpts lunge or screech, this one coils. The hag is caught mid-crouch, one arm raking forward with long, hooked claws while the other clutches something small and unidentifiable behind her. Her matted hair cascades in thick, waterlogged ropes across her torso, and her face — mouth stretched wide, teeth bared — holds an expression caught somewhere between a grin and a snarl. Dark markings trace her shoulder and chest, the only decoration on an otherwise wretched form. She looks like something that has been waiting beneath the pier for a very long time.
For Dungeon Masters, she works as a coven matriarch caught in the act of striking, a swamp-dwelling NPC mid-negotiation with something the party definitely cannot see, or the creature behind the string of disappearances in the coastal village. For painters, the deep folds of her hair, the texture of her skin, and the clawed hands offer a wealth of surface to work with across multiple techniques. She is equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf.
A solid choice for adventurers who:
- Need a sea hag, green hag, or night hag for a D&D 5e coven encounter
- Want a crouching, predatory pose that reads instantly as threat across the table
- Are building a coastal, swamp, or Feywild-adjacent campaign arc
- Enjoy a painting project with layered textures and expressive facial detail
- Collect display-worthy monster miniatures from independent sculptors
Encounter Hook:
The fishing village's nets have come up empty for three weeks running, and the harbour master swears the tide smells wrong. At low water, beneath the oldest jetty, the party finds something crouching in the dark — not hiding, not startled, simply waiting. It has been expecting them. It knew they would come before they did.
