Description

She emerged from the shallows on a moonless night, rope-wrapped and grinning, her salt-matted hair dragging like seaweed behind her — and she was already laughing before the screaming started.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of the Sea Hag range from Novaminis, and it captures the creature at its most unsettling: arms spread wide and claws extended, jaw stretched into a jagged, tooth-baring leer. Her lank, rope-bound dreads hang to her waist, her ragged garments cling to a wiry, hollow frame, and every line of the sculpt conveys something ancient and deeply wrong. One hand clutches what appears to be a small fetish or token — a dark bargaining chip — while the other reaches outward, demanding or threatening, it's hard to say which.

In D&D 5e, sea hags are the most predatory of the hag family: creatures without the patience for subtlety, who simply reach out and take what they want — including the last shred of hope in a sailor's heart. This sculpt suits that energy precisely. Whether you're statting her up as a lone coastal terror, slotting her into a hag coven for a Feywild hex-crawl, or placing her on a display shelf as a centrepiece villain, the detail in this sculpt rewards close attention and a careful hand with the brush.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run coastal, maritime, or Feywild campaigns and need a believable hag encounter
  • Want a hag coven centrepiece with genuine menace on the tabletop
  • Paint character-driven monsters and appreciate expressive, lore-faithful sculpts
  • Collect fey creatures and dark fantasy miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The fishing village hasn't lost a boat in three seasons — an unusual mercy on this stretch of coast. The local elder says they made a deal with the thing that lives in the tidepools, and that the deal is almost up. The party arrives two days before the deadline, to find the elder has already gone to renegotiate alone.
