The Scorpion Arachne Angry is a large, multipart miniature of a ferocious warrior astride a colossal scorpion mount. Her dreadlocked hair flows wild, her expression is pure battle-fury, and she wields a broad-bladed axe in a two-handed swing that says the parley is very much over. The scorpion beneath her is no mere beast — its segmented carapace is richly detailed, every joint and armour plate rendered with the kind of care that rewards a careful brush. Its curving stinger arcs high over the rider's head, poised to strike, whilst the great claws are splayed outward in a threat display that fills an impressive 51mm base. This is a sculpt with genuine presence on the table.
The bundle includes both a plain base and a decorative base variant, as well as supported and unsupported print files — giving you the flexibility to paint whichever version suits your collection best. Whether she ends up anchoring a desert warband encounter or commanding a shelf display, the level of sculpted detail here is built to hold up at either end of a paintbrush.
As a large-base miniature, she reads clearly from the other side of the table — the rider's silhouette distinct from her mount, the towering stinger creating unmistakable vertical drama. Dungeon Masters running desert campaigns, planar encounters, or anything touching on monstrous mounted warlords will find her a versatile piece to reach for.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Run desert or wasteland encounters and need a commanding mounted threat
- Want a centrepiece miniature that rewards detailed painting across two distinct subjects
- Are building an exotic warband with non-standard mounts
- Love display-quality sculpts that work just as well on the gaming table
Encounter Hook: The party has been tracking a raider chieftain across three days of open desert. They finally spot her camp — but before they can plan their approach, she rides out alone to meet them, scorpion mount clicking its claws, axe already in hand. She doesn't wait for them to speak first.

The cats rolled Arcana to understand why humans spend so much time on tiny figures. They failed the check. They stayed anyway.
