Description

She stands at the centre of a pool of blood that is not entirely hers, one pale hand raised in invitation, the other resting at her hip — and she is smiling.

Scarlett the Blood Witch is one of those villains who doesn't need a dungeon to be terrifying. Pale as bone, crowned with curling horns and bound in ornate white robes split to the thigh, she exudes the particular menace of someone who has made countless bargains and lost exactly none of them. Her base tells the story before she opens her mouth: crimson hands reach up from a shallow bowl of blood at her feet, grasping at her ankles as though they belong to those who came before — and didn't survive the transaction. A heavy chain curves behind her like a throne, and her blind-masked eyes somehow still feel as though they see everything.

This sculpt reads equally well as a hag matriarch, a blood sorcerer BBEG, a corrupted fey noble, or the kind of manipulative NPC whose every gift comes with a clause buried somewhere the party won't find until it's far too late. She's a centrepiece figure in every sense — on the gaming table and on the display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a BBEG with presence, history, and a genuinely unsettling aesthetic
  • Are building a hag coven, a blood magic cult, or a dark fey political intrigue
  • Want a display piece that holds attention across the table
  • Are running Ravenloft, Feywild, or any campaign where deals are made in shadow
  • Paint character studies and want a sculpt with exceptional narrative detail

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a string of disappearances in the river district — merchants, a city guard, a minor noble — all last seen visiting a pale woman who offered them exactly what they asked for. When the adventurers finally locate her sanctum, they find Scarlett waiting, utterly unsurprised, seated above a basin of dark water in which they can see reflections of moments that haven't happened yet. She already knows why they've come. She already has an offer prepared. The only question is whether they're clever enough to read the small print.
