The Scarecrow is one of those creatures that works on two levels simultaneously — mundane enough to dismiss at first glance, and deeply unsettling the moment the party realises something is wrong. In D&D 5e terms it's a Construct animated by dark magic, but on the tabletop it's so much more: a slow-burn horror encounter, a cursed guardian left behind by a wicked spellcaster, or the first sign that the village's troubles run far deeper than a bad harvest. This sculpt by Great Grimoire captures that duality beautifully — feathered collar, coiled rope trailing from one clawed hand, tattered robes billowing as it lunges forward, and a crow perched on one outstretched arm as if nature itself has made peace with the thing.
Two pose variants are available — this listing features the forward-lunging pose with crow companion, dynamic and mid-stride, while the background variant shows the same creature with arms raised and a more imposing silhouette. Both read brilliantly on the tabletop and reward a careful paint job. The burlap-sack face, stitched and hollow-eyed, gives painters a genuinely expressive focal point to work with. Supplied at 32mm scale. Comes as shown in the product image — any separate components assemble easily with superglue. Support marks are removed before dispatch; minor imperfections inherent to the printing process may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming. Suitable for gaming and display collecting.
