It does not hunger, does not sleep, and does not stop — bound in rope and rotting cloth, it reaches for whatever its long-dead master commanded it to destroy.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is the third sculpt in our Scarecrow range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it is the most feral of the lot. Where earlier poses suggest stillness and surveillance, Scarecrow 03 is caught mid-lunge — wide-legged stance, both arms extended, long curved claws raking the air. Ropes coil along the arms, legs, and torso like crude stitching holding something barely together, while tattered cloth hangs from its waist and hips. The featureless, hood-like head makes it genuinely unsettling: no face to read, no intent to decipher. Just the crouch. Just the reach.
For Dungeon Masters, this sculpt works as a CR-appropriate construct guardian in a cursed farm, a harvested field turned hunting ground, or an ancient noble's estate where the wards never received the order to stand down. It paints brilliantly in washed earth tones, rotting linen, and frayed rope — a controlled dry-brush palette with selective gore or magical highlights is all it takes to make this a table-stopping encounter piece. Equally at home on a display shelf for adventurers who collect horror-adjacent miniatures.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a CR-appropriate construct or horror monster for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
- Are running a Ravenloft, cursed farmland, or gothic horror campaign arc
- Want a centrepiece that rewards close-up painting — the rope detail and claw anatomy are exceptional
- Collect creature miniatures for display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The party tracked the missing children to the old Voss estate — three generations abandoned, the harvest fields long gone to seed. Now, as lantern light catches something moving between the dead rows, they count four shapes. Four wide stances. Four sets of claws catching the moonlight. And from somewhere in the darkness, the creak of rope pulled tight.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is quality-checked before dispatch; support marks are removed as part of our process, though minor traces can occur with complex sculpts and are straightforward to address.
