Description

Something ancient and hungry has crawled out of the deep swamps — part reptile, part nightmare, and entirely your party's problem now.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Saurian Monstrosity is not a lizardfolk warrior or a scaled humanoid with a spear. This is something wilder and far more unsettling: a bipedal saurian predator with a long, fanged skull crowned by a jagged dorsal crest, a muscular frame armoured in overlapping scales, and forearms that end in curved, blade-like talons rather than hands. It moves with the unhurried confidence of something that has never needed to run from anything. The sculpt captures that predatory stillness — weight low, claws trailing, gaze fixed — making it as compelling on a display shelf as it is on the battlemat.

Whether you field it as a corrupted apex predator lurking in a jungle hex, a boss encounter at the heart of a yuan-ti temple complex, or a creature unleashed by a druid who made very poor choices, this miniature carries genuine menace. Painters will find plenty to work with: the layered scale texture, the ridge of spines along the crest, and the sinew-wrapped torso reward careful highlighting and washes. Printed at 32mm scale, it sits comfortably alongside standard adventurer minis while still looming large enough to feel like a real threat.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a genuinely fearsome boss monster or apex predator encounter
  • Are running a swamp, jungle, underdark, or prehistoric-themed campaign
  • Want a creature that reads as a Monstrosity rather than a humanoid
  • Are looking for a standout display piece that doubles as a tabletop threat
  • Love painting detailed scale textures and creature anatomy

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to investigate a series of missing hunters along the Thornfen road. When they find the remains — or what little is left of them — a local tracker points them toward a half-submerged ruin deep in the marsh. The thing that has claimed it as territory doesn't negotiate. It doesn't retreat. And when the torchlight catches the glint of those curved talons in the dark, the ranger finally understands why nobody comes back from the Thornfen alone.
