This is the second sarcophagus in Novaminis' scatter terrain range, and it distinguishes itself from the first with a broader, more ornate coffin-style silhouette. The lid is richly decorated with carved knotwork and circular boss detailing along the rim, while the body of the sarcophagus features deep fluted panels that read as ancient stonework straight off the painting table. Crucially, the lid is a separate piece — lift it away and you have a fully hollow interior, ready to conceal a mummy, a vampire's resting place, a cursed artefact, or whatever your players are most afraid to find inside.
Whether it's the centrepiece of a crypt encounter or a piece of dressing in a pharaonic tomb, this sarcophagus rewards both the Dungeon Master placing it on the map and the painter who takes their time with a drybrush and some weathering pigments. It works equally well as part of a gaming table setup or as a display piece alongside undead and tomb-raiding miniatures.

Encounter Hook:
The party's map marks this sarcophagus as the resting place of the Undying Warden — but when they lift the lid, it is empty. Freshly empty. The wax seal on the interior is broken from within, and muddy footprints lead away into the darkness of the adjoining chamber.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale and supplied as two separate pieces — the lid and the base. The lid fits naturally atop the body and can be positioned open, closed, or half-ajar. Available with or without a plain black display base; the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. As with all our prints, minor support marks are possible and easily tidied up before priming.
