Description

They say he's sailed every sea worth naming, and a few that cartographers refuse to acknowledge — a weathered orc corsair whose scowl has frightened off more ships than any cannon ever could.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

The Saltworn Seagazer is a display bust sculpted with extraordinary character — an aged orc sea captain, his broad tricorn hat battered and feather-worn, his expression locked somewhere between contempt and command. A thick beard frames a heavy jaw, and his layered armour bears the texture of chainmail beneath a wide-collared coat that speaks of rank, swagger, and too many years on open water. This is not a creature that asks for quarter, and it does not give it either.

As a bust, the Seagazer is designed to showcase expression, texture, and surface detail at their finest — the kind of piece that rewards a skilled painter's patience and dominates a display shelf once finished. The sculpt carries enough narrative weight to anchor a sea campaign, inspire a recurring NPC, or serve as the face of a pirate fleet your players won't forget meeting.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Paint display busts and want a character with genuine presence and story
  • Are running a nautical or pirate-themed D&D or TTRPG campaign
  • Collect fantasy busts and appreciate expressive, lore-rich sculpts
  • Need a vivid visual reference for a grizzled orc captain, sea villain, or powerful NPC
  • Want a showcase piece that doubles as campaign inspiration

Encounter Hook: The party's ship has been intercepted in the Shattered Straits — a fog-wreathed channel notorious for disappearances. As the mist clears, a vast galleon emerges, and at its prow stands the Seagazer himself, tricorn tilted low, one hand on the rail. He doesn't shout a threat. He doesn't need to. He simply watches, and waits for them to make the first mistake.

Details

This is a display bust rather than a standard tabletop gaming miniature — sculpted to put expression, texture, and fine detail front and centre. It arrives unpainted and ready for primer, with supports removed. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks are possible; these are easily addressed before painting begins.
