Description

The ridge falls silent as a shadow rises above the treeline — the alpha throws its head back, sabres gleaming, and the cub at its flank echoes the call into the cold air.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This large-size sabretooth tiger sculpt captures a dramatic moment of territorial dominance — the adult rearing up with jaws thrown wide, head raised in a full roar, while a smaller cub stands low beside it in an answering snarl. The pair share a rocky outcrop base, carved with believable stone layers, that gives the scene real depth and narrative weight.

The sculpt is rich with surface detail: deep fur texture runs across every inch of both animals, a pronounced dorsal ridge of spines lines the adult's back, and the oversized canine teeth that define the species are rendered with satisfying sharpness. Scale reference from the image shows the adult sitting comfortably in the large creature category — meaningfully bigger than a standard 32mm mini, making it a visually commanding presence on the table.

Whether you use this as a wandering monster encounter, a guardian beast in a druid's sanctuary, or the prized companion of a wilderness ranger, the two-figure composition gives you options. Run them as a single large creature, or use the adult and cub separately as distinct encounter elements.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a large beast encounter with serious table presence
  • Are running arctic, mountain, or deep wilderness campaigns
  • Want a centrepiece creature that doubles as display-worthy painted art
  • Play or DM with a ranger, druid, or beast-master character who deserves a worthy companion sculpt
  • Are building out a prehistoric or ancient-world encounter roster

Encounter Hook: The party has tracked a missing shepherd's flock to a high mountain ridge. At the crest, they find the remains — and then hear it. A sound like the mountain itself exhaling. The sabretooth turns from its kill, cub pressed against its flank, and the decision must be made in the next six seconds: stand, run, or hope a Nature check saves everyone.
