Description

Before the party had time to draw weapons, the sabretooth had already crossed the clearing — a blur of muscle, ivory fangs, and prehistoric fury.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This large-scale Sabretooth Tiger miniature is built for presence. The sculpt captures the beast mid-stalk — haunches raised, spine arched, and head dropped low with those enormous sabre fangs parted in a snarl. Every strand of shaggy fur is rendered with sharp detail, from the ruffed mane framing the broad, flat face to the heavy paws splayed across a rocky outcrop base. The tail curls high behind it, giving the pose a coiled-spring tension, as if the pounce is already in motion.

As a large-sized creature, this miniature commands the table. It would serve equally well as a wilderness ambush predator, a beast tamed by a druidic cult, or a prehistoric remnant lurking in a lost valley. The rocky terrain base grounds it in a highland or mountain setting, and the level of detail rewards careful painting — individual claws, textured fur, and deep-set eyes give painters plenty to work with. On a display shelf, it holds its own as a centrepiece piece.

This miniature suits adventurers who:

  • Run encounter tables in wilderness, mountain, or arctic regions
  • Need a large-sized beast to challenge a mid-level party
  • Play Druids, Rangers, or Beast Masters looking for a compelling animal companion model
  • Collect predator beasts or prehistoric creatures for their display shelf
  • Want a painting project with rich fur texture and dramatic pose

Encounter Hook: The druids of the Coldstone Circle have long kept sabretooth tigers as sacred guardians of their highland shrine. When the party is tasked with recovering a stolen relic from the shrine, they arrive to find the druids dead — and three of the great cats still very much alive, prowling the stone circle and regarding the intruders with amber-eyed menace.
