Description
The jungle fell silent a heartbeat before it exploded — all muscle, saber-teeth, and fury, the beast was already mid-lunge before anyone had time to draw steel.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is a large-base (51mm) miniature of a sabertooth beast caught at the apex of its attack — one forepaw raised, claws splayed wide, its mane of wild feather-like fur bristling outward as its jaw drops to reveal those iconic elongated fangs. The sculpt captures the creature in full dynamic motion: the lean, muscular body is coiled with predatory intent, the serpentine tail whipping out behind it with a small cluster of barb-like protrusions at the tip. Every sinew and tuft of mane is rendered in sharp detail, making this equally rewarding to paint as it is terrifying to place on the table.
Two render angles are provided, showing the full sculpt from the front-left and rear-right — both revealing just how much energy is packed into this pose. The feathered mane has a layered, almost scale-like quality that catches light beautifully, and the creature's expression is one of total, focused aggression. Whether you run it as a fiercely territorial apex predator, a monstrous beast kept by a warlord, or a dire species haunting deep wilderness ruins, this sculpt has the presence to hold the table.
As a large creature on a 51mm base, it will sit appropriately alongside standard 32mm minis without overwhelming the mat, while still commanding the respect a CR-appropriate beast deserves.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a large-base beast encounter for a wilderness or jungle campaign
- Want a ferocious mount or companion creature for a ranger or druid NPC
- Are building a bestiary of large predators for varied encounter variety
- Love a technically rewarding miniature to paint — the layered mane alone is worth the brush time
- Are looking for a display piece that communicates raw, savage power on a shelf
Encounter Hook
The ranger crouched over the claw marks in the earth — each one four inches deep and spread wide as a human hand. "Three days old," she murmured. Then the undergrowth behind the cleric erupted, and the sabertooth beast hit the party at a full charge, its tail barb already whipping round toward the wizard at the back.
