Description

She stood at the palace gate for three days before the siege broke — not because the walls held, but because no enemy could meet her gaze and still raise a weapon.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

The Royal Spearguard Bust is a display piece that earns its place on any shelf. Sculpted as a half-length bust on a decorative plinth, she wears intricately engraved plate — scroll-worked pauldrons, a layered breastplate carved with swirling motifs — and a winged ceremonial helm crowned with a tall feather plume. Her expression is measured and knowing, a slight upward curve to her lips that suggests she has already calculated your next move and found it wanting. A broad heater shield rises at her left shoulder, its surface etched to match the rest of her armour. Every surface rewards a painter's attention.

Whether you want a showpiece for the display cabinet or a vivid face to put to your campaign's most formidable city guard captain, knight commander, or warrior noble, this bust delivers the character to carry that weight. She reads equally well as a paladin of the realm, a veteran fighter sworn to a dying king, or a warrior NPC your players will be reluctant to cross.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a detailed painting project with real surface variety — armour engravings, facial features, shield geometry, and a feathered plume all in one piece
  • Are building a fantasy bust collection and want a strong martial character with genuine presence
  • Need a visual anchor for a guard captain, knight, or noble warrior NPC in a D&D or TTRPG campaign
  • Are looking for a shelf centrepiece or a meaningful gift for a miniature painter

Encounter Hook: The players arrive at the Royal Quarter to request an audience with the council — only to find the gates sealed and the Spearguard herself standing watch, alone, her shield arm raised. Behind her, the banners of three noble houses hang inverted. She doesn't explain. She simply says: "No one enters until I know which of you sent the letter."

This is a display bust, not a standard 32mm tabletop combat miniature — it is sculpted at a larger scale to showcase expression, engraved detail, and painting technique. Supplied unassembled and unpainted on a decorative stepped plinth base. Printed to a high standard with fine detail retention throughout.
