Description
On the edge of the blighted moor, half-hidden by bracken, stands a shelter no sensible traveller would approach — its peaked hide walls stitched with crude cross-stitch seams, and a rope-bound skull grinning down from the apex.

Rough Shelter 03 is the third piece in the Rough Shelter scatter terrain range from Novaminis, and it carries the most unsettling presence of the set. Four rough-hewn wooden stakes splay outward to form the frame, draped with panels of stitched hide that billow like something between a tent and a shroud. At the peak, a skull — bound tight with rope, jaw slightly open — keeps watch over the surrounding wilderness. Whether this is a goblin camp marker, a cult waypoint, or simply the dwelling of someone your party very much does not want to meet, it tells a story the moment it hits the table.
The craftsmanship in the sculpt rewards painters especially: the overlapping hide panels, the raised cross-stitching along each seam, the braided rope lashing, and the textured wooden poles all offer distinct surfaces to pick out with washes, drybrushing, and layering. As a display piece, it anchors a wilderness or tribal diorama with immediate atmosphere.

Encounter Hook:
The ranger spots it first — a peaked shelter at the treeline, stitched hide walls and a skull lashed to the top with fraying rope. The tracks leading to it are fresh. The tracks leading away are not. Whatever made camp here did so last night, and the embers inside are still warm.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or use it unpainted for an atmospheric grey-resin look on the table. Support marks are removed before dispatch; minor imperfections inherent to the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
