This is the first piece in our Rotting Log scatter terrain range from Novaminis. It depicts a large, fallen tree trunk in an advanced state of decay — the bark is split, cracked and peeling, the surface cratered with knots and insect damage, and one end has hollowed out completely, leaving a dark opening that could shelter anything from a nest of giant spiders to a cache of smuggled goods. The sculpt captures the organic complexity of dead wood with impressive depth: layered bark texture, surface fractures, and the subtle swell of fungal rot are all rendered across the length of the log.
As a scatter terrain piece, it earns its place on any table — whether you're building a dense woodland encounter, a swamp clearing, a druidic ruin, or a dungeon with an overgrown entrance. It also works beautifully as a painting and display piece, offering rich surface texture that rewards washes, drybrushing and natural earth tones.

Encounter Hook:
The ranger crouches and points — something has clawed the bark from the inside. Whatever made this hollow its den is still close. The players have thirty seconds before it comes back.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base; the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush — or use it straight from the box for instant atmosphere at the table.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
We aim to dispatch most orders within a week from when the order is placed but for larger orders we ask that they can take up to 3 weeks.
