Rotclaw 03 by Great Grimoire
Description
When the torchlight catches the skull-adorned armour and the war-jaws spread wide, the party realises the Rotclaw Triad does not send messengers — it sends Gnartik Ironfang.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Gnartik Ironfang is the shield-bearing brute of the Rotclaw Triad — a hulking ratfolk warrior who combines feral ferocity with the brutal pragmatism of a seasoned soldier. Clad in chainmail and plated armour decorated with skull-motif pauldrons, Gnartik crouches low with a broad rectangular shield raised and a straight sword levelled forward, ready to close the gap the moment initiative is rolled. That wide, fang-filled snarl and the ridge of bony spines along the crown of the skull tell any DM exactly what kind of encounter this is: not a skirmish, but a statement.
The sculpt captures every detail that makes Gnartik a character rather than just a creature — the studded belt, the layered tabard, the skull hanging from the neck like a trophy, and those grasping rat-clawed feet gripping the ground before the charge. Whether you're deploying him as the muscle of a sewer-dwelling warband, a bodyguard for a Skaven-inspired warlord, or simply placing him on a display shelf, this miniature rewards both the painter and the Dungeon Master.
This is the third sculpt in the Rotclaw Triad range from Great Grimoire — Gnartik Ironfang in his signature sword-and-board charging stance.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a heavy-hitting ratfolk warrior to anchor a Skaven or Underdark warband encounter
- Are building a sewers, plague district, or thieves' guild encounter for D&D 5e or another TTRPG
- Want a distinctive frontline combatant that doubles as a display piece
- Are collecting the full Rotclaw Triad set alongside the other sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The city watch found the barricade on Ashpike Lane reduced to splinters — one claw mark raked through solid oak, three inches deep, at head height. By the time the party reaches the undercroft below the tannery, Gnartik Ironfang is already waiting in the dark, shield raised, jaws open, and the rest of the Triad somewhere behind him.
Gnartik Ironfang is scaled to 35mm. If you'd prefer 32mm scaling, just send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate. A plain black base is included as standard; if you'd like a decorative base, select that option at checkout and drop us a note specifying whether you'd prefer the Beach Scene, w/Anchor, or w/Skull option. The base arrives separate and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with any hand-finished piece, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to tidy up.
