Where the briars twist and the perfume of decay hangs in the air, something wearing the shape of a flower has learned to hunger.

The Rose Monster by Mia Kay M3DM is a deeply unsettling piece of botanical horror — a lithe, feminine figure draped in layered petal-like robes, her limbs entwined and overtaken by thick, thorned bramble branches that curl and reach like grasping fingers. She moves mid-step, skirts swirling, yet there is nothing graceful about her — those barbed tendrils coil around her torso and trail behind her like a living trap. The sculpt captures a creature that has crossed the boundary between the Feywild's beauty and its cruelty, making her equally at home as a corrupted dryad, a plant-touched fiend, or a unique boss encounter in a cursed garden.

The detail across the bark-textured brambles, the layered petal hood and collar, and the swirling base gives painters extraordinary surface variation to work with — deep shadows in the thorned crevices, smooth petal surfaces to highlight, and a dynamic silhouette that reads clearly from across the table. Whether displayed on a shelf or placed on the battlemat, she commands attention.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Need an eerie plant-creature boss for a cursed forest or corrupted garden encounter
  • Are building a Feywild campaign with dangerous, beguiling flora
  • Want a corrupted dryad, plant fiend, or nature-horror NPC with genuine visual menace
  • Are looking for a centrepiece miniature with exceptional painting potential
  • Collect distinctive creature sculpts for display as well as play

Encounter Hook:
The village herbalist went missing three weeks ago. The party finds her garden overgrown beyond reason — roses the size of fists blooming in midwinter, thorned vines sealing the gate. Then something at the centre of the garden slowly turns to face them, and they realise the herbalist is still there, somewhere inside it.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model with the detailed base comes as a single piece, pre-attached. The model with the plain base option is supplied with the base separate, ready to glue to your preferred basing setup. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, very minor marks are occasionally possible and can be cleaned up with ease. Every piece is fully cured and ready to prime and paint.
