Description

Where the roses bloom thickest and the stone beneath has long since surrendered to the roots, something ancient marks the threshold between the mortal world and somewhere else entirely.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This rose arch is a piece of scatter terrain that earns its place on the table. Two ornate stone columns rise from a cobbled base, every surface wound with carved roses in full bloom — stems, leaves, and petals layered in extraordinary relief. The keystone arch overhead is crowned with a cascading spread of foliage and blossoms, giving the whole structure the feel of a gateway that has stood for centuries, long enough for the wildwood to claim it as its own. Whether it marks the entrance to a Feywild court, a forgotten garden shrine, or the overgrown threshold of a noble estate, it brings immediate atmosphere to any scene it anchors.

This is a terrain piece that does what the best scatter pieces do — it tells a story before a single die is rolled. Scaled at 32mm, the arch is substantial enough to frame a dramatic moment without overwhelming your battle map. It arrives ready for priming and painting, though it reads beautifully even unpainted straight from the box.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Feywild, woodland, or courtly garden encounters and want terrain that carries the mood
  • Build diorama or display scenes for painted miniatures — this arch makes a remarkable centrepiece
  • Want scatter terrain with genuine sculptural detail rather than flat placeholder pieces
  • Are seeking a focal point for wedding, ceremony, or ritual-themed TTRPG scenes

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with attending a midsummer gathering hosted by the Summer Court — a neutral event, they were told, merely ceremonial. But as they pass beneath the rose arch at the garden's edge, the flowers bloom in real time, the petals turn silver, and the arch hums with a faint harmonic resonance. The invitation was genuine. The arch, however, was not expecting them to cross it tonight — and something on the other side has noticed.

Details

What's included:
The arch is scaled to 32mm. The model with the detailed base is supplied as a single piece attached to the base. The model with the plain base is supplied with the base detached and can be affixed easily with hobby glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; minor print marks are occasionally possible and can be tidied with standard hobby tools. All pieces are fully cured and ready to prime and paint.
