Golems are among the most feared constructs in any dungeon master's arsenal: tireless, silent, and utterly without mercy. This Rock Golem sculpt captures that lurching, unstoppable momentum beautifully — massive fists raised, body crouched low and ready to charge, cracked stone musculature rippling across every surface. The base is strewn with broken rock fragments, as if the ground itself buckled under its weight when it finally moved.
Whether you're statting it up as a CR 10 Stone Golem, a wizard's ancient guardian, or a boss encounter at the end of a dungeon crawl, this miniature carries the presence the moment demands. It's equally at home on the battlefield or on a display shelf — the sculpted stone texture gives painters a wealth of depth to work with, from cold granite washes to volcanic obsidian schemes.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a weighty, imposing boss monster for dungeon encounters
- Are running campaigns featuring arcane laboratories, sealed vaults, or ancient ruins
- Want a construct miniature that doubles as a compelling display piece
- Enjoy painting stone, rock, and earth textures with layered washes
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a spellbook from a sealed mage's tower. The final chamber is circular, featureless — except for a ten-foot figure standing motionless in the centre. As the rogue reaches for the book, a deep grinding sound fills the room. The golem's eyes open. Initiative is rolled.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model is attached to its detailed rocky base as a single piece, ready for priming and painting straight out of the box. As with all hand-finished miniatures, minor surface marks may occasionally be present — these are easily addressed with light sanding before painting.
