Roc MM2025 by MZ4250

The shadow falls before the sound arrives — a wingspan broad enough to blot the sun, talons outstretched, and a screech that turns the mountain air to ice.

• ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
• ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
• ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
• ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Roc is one of the most awe-inspiring creatures in the Monster Manual — a raptor so immense it hunts whales and elephants as casually as a hawk takes a field mouse. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures that ferocity at its most elemental: wings spread to their full dramatic arc, each individual feather rendered with close attention across the primaries, secondaries, and covert layers. The head tilts forward into a hunting stoop, beak cracked open mid-shriek, talons fanned and ready to seize. Every feather group overlaps naturally, giving the piece a sense of real anatomical weight despite the sheer scale of the wingspan.

As a multipart miniature, the Roc assembles from separate components — giving you the wingspan presence you need without compromising the detail of either wing surface. Painted in the tawny golds and warm browns of a true mountain raptor, or left in striking monochrome grey, this miniature commands a display shelf as convincingly as it dominates a game table encounter. The sheer horizontal spread of those wings makes it a genuine centrepiece — a creature your players will remember long after the session ends.

Whether you're running a high-altitude chase across the Spine of the World, a griffon-rider scrambling to defend against an aerial predator twice their mount's size, or a storm druid commanding the skies above a besieged fortress, the Roc delivers the visual gravity that moment demands.

Particularly well suited to adventurers who:

• Need a landmark encounter creature for mountain or wilderness campaigns
• Are building aerial combat encounters and want real table presence
• Play rangers, druids, or beast-adjacent characters with a companion narrative
• Collect high-detail creature miniatures for display alongside painted armies
• Want a showpiece that draws the eye across the table before a word of encounter text is read

Encounter Hook: The party is three days into the Greypeak crossing when the pack horses begin to panic. A shadow sweeps across the ridge — not a cloud. The Roc that nests above the Titan's Tooth has spotted the travellers' mule as prey, and it is already descending. The party has two rounds before impact. What do they do?
