This River Folk Wizard is a compact, characterful sculpt that radiates chaotic arcane menace. Stocky and wide-legged in a confident spell-casting stance, this frogfolk mage wears a flowing, heavily textured robe and a tilted wide-brimmed witch's hat — complete with the creature's distinctive elongated ears poking out from beneath the brim. The face is all teeth: a broad, toothy grin that sits somewhere between jovial and deeply threatening, exactly as a self-satisfied swamp sorcerer should look.

In one clawed hand the wizard clutches a well-worn spellbook, its pages splayed open mid-incantation. The other hand is raised with a swirling mass of wild magic gathering at the fingers — a beautifully sculpted arcane effect that gives the miniature tremendous energy and dynamism. The back of the robe reveals armour-like scaling across the shoulders and a row of toggle fastenings running down the spine, lending just enough martial practicality to an otherwise thoroughly academic figure.

Encounter Hook: Deep in the Murkmere Fens, the party has been tracking a string of livestock disappearances — until they stumble upon a self-styled "Grand Magister" of the river folk, who cheerfully admits responsibility and offers a trade: the cattle in exchange for the party retrieving a stolen chapter from his spellbook, currently in the possession of a rival heron-folk shaman across the bog. He seems trustworthy. His smile, however, is enormous and full of teeth.
