Father McKinley is a Righteous Inquisitor from DM Stash's Baldurian Inquisition setting — a man who has folded faith and firepower into a single, uncompromising doctrine. Clad in engraved plate armour worn over a long white surplice, he carries twin flintlock pistols with the casual authority of someone who has never once doubted a trigger pull. Heavy ceremonial chains bearing inquisitorial seals hang at his chest, and his long coat fans out behind him as though mid-stride towards judgement. The sculpt is rich with detail — layered armour plates, religious iconography across his tabard, and an expression of cold, measured resolve beneath neatly trimmed hair and beard. This is a character who could be a patron, an antagonist, or the party's most uncomfortable ally.

For DMs running campaigns in settings that blend theological authority with gunpowder politics — think Eberron, Ravnica, or any homebrew city with a powerful church-state — Father McKinley lands with immediate narrative weight. He works equally well as a Cleric or Paladin-adjacent player character or as a recurring NPC whose agenda may not always align with the party's own.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a morally complex religious authority figure as a quest-giver or rival
  • Are playing a Gunslinger, Cleric, Paladin, or Inquisitor-themed character
  • Want a distinctive NPC for city-based intrigue, church politics, or holy war arcs
  • Collect display pieces from the Baldurian Inquisition range

Encounter Hook:
The party has been quietly investigating rumours of a black-market relic smuggling ring operating beneath the cathedral district. They haven't told anyone. So why is Father McKinley waiting for them at the tavern door when they return — pistols holstered, eyes fixed, and a folded parchment bearing the Inquisition's seal held out in one steady hand?

Details

Father McKinley is supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative base are separate pieces — the base features an ornate inquisitorial design that complements the sculpt, and the two are best assembled with a small amount of super glue. The mini arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or display as-is.
