Description

Half-rhinoceros, half-warrior, wholly unstoppable — the Rhino Centaur charges across the plains with a great spear levelled at anything foolish enough to hold its ground.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This large-sized miniature captures a powerfully built rhino centaur in a forward-charging stance, gripping a long hafted spear horizontally across its body — a weapon clearly sized for something that hits like a freight wagon. The sculpt is richly detailed throughout: thick, shaggy fur covers the beast's lower body and drapes across the broad chest and shoulders, while layered rope-wrapped bracers and crude but effective armour speak to a warrior culture forged through battle rather than smithcraft. The rhino head is magnificent — a broad, scarred snout crowned with a prominent horn, and two smaller secondary horns curving back from the brow. Rope banding wraps around the torso, adding texture and suggesting this warrior has been battle-ready for a very long time.

The scale reference shown in the product image confirms this is a genuinely large miniature — noticeably bigger than a standard humanoid — making it a natural fit as a powerful monster encounter, a herd champion, or even a mounted-style display piece. Whether leading a thunder of Rhino Centaurs across an open grassland or encountered alone as a territorial guardian of ancient tribal hunting grounds, this sculpt commands attention on the table.

The render is shown in raw, unpainted resin orange — so the extraordinary sculpt detail from the hoof textures through to the frayed rope wrapping is clearly visible before a single brush stroke is applied.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Run large creature encounters on open terrain or wilderness maps
  • Want a memorable and visually distinct centaur variant beyond the standard horse-bodied type
  • Are building out a tribal or plains-dwelling monster faction
  • Enjoy painting highly textured creature minis with fur, skin, and rope detail
  • Display large-scale fantasy creature sculpts alongside their D&D collection

Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to escort a caravan across the Amber Steppe — three days of open grassland with nowhere to hide. On the second night, their scout returns breathless: a lone Rhino Centaur has been circling the camp since dusk, and at first light it levelled its spear and began walking slowly, deliberately, toward the lead wagon. It hasn't charged. It hasn't spoken. It's waiting for something.
