Description

Where the mountain passes narrow and the frost bites deep, the rhino centaur clans hold dominion — armoured in layered hide, armed with axe and curved scythe, and willing to test the resolve of any who dare cross their highland territory.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a large-scale miniature — the sculpt towers over standard 32mm figures, befitting a creature of this creature's sheer bulk and presence. The rhino centaur is depicted seated upon a rocky outcrop, powerful upper body clad in feathered and layered hide armour, a broad-bladed axe braced in one hand and a long curving scythe extended in the other. A single prominent horn rises from the armoured helm, and the lower, beast-like body is covered in thick, textured fur. The sculpt carries real weight and authority — every surface is packed with detail, from the braided arm wrappings to the cloven hooves buried in the stone base.

The rocky terrain base integrates beautifully with the sculpt, giving the piece a natural sense of ground and elevation. Whether you paint this as a highland warlord, a planar beast of burden turned conqueror, or the alpha of a centaur warband, the silhouette is distinctive and immediately readable across the table.

A scale die is shown in the render for size reference — this is a genuinely imposing piece that commands attention in any encounter.

  • Dungeon Masters building highland or mountain encounters with a commanding brute at the centre
  • Adventurers looking for a large monster to anchor a set-piece battle
  • Painters who want a heavily textured, high-detail sculpt to bring to life
  • Collectors seeking an unusual centaur variant beyond the typical equine form

Encounter Hook: The party crests the ridge to find the old mountain road blocked — not by a rockfall, but by a massive rhino centaur seated atop the pass stone, scythe resting across its knees, watching them with calm, calculating eyes. It speaks first: the toll for crossing is one champion willing to fight, or one secret worth keeping. The party has thirty seconds to decide before it stands up.

Details

This miniature is printed at 32mm heroic scale, though as a large creature it will stand noticeably taller and wider than a standard human-sized mini. The sculpt is supplied unpainted and ready to prime with any standard spray or brush-on primer. The integrated rocky base adds height and visual grounding without requiring a separate base purchase, though it will also sit on a standard 50mm round base if you prefer a lipped rim.
