The Revenant Headhunter is a warrior scorned by death itself — returned from beyond the grave not as a shambling husk, but as a relentless, driven hunter with scores yet to settle. This sculpt by Epic Miniatures captures her mid-stride, wild hair swept back as though still carried by the momentum of a killing blow. In her right hand she grips a massive serrated greatsword, still swinging, while her left arm clutches two severed goblinoid heads as trophies — grim proof that the hunt is well underway.
The detail across this miniature is exceptional throughout: studded leather armour over the torso with articulated pauldrons, chain mail at the hips, and a layered, tattered skirt that billows out behind her in dramatic motion. Her expression is one of cold, hollow intensity — the face of someone who no longer feels pain, only purpose. The reverse of the sculpt reveals an equally striking silhouette, with the layered skirt's frilled edges and wild, feathered hair creating a distinctive and dynamic profile from every angle.
Whether she's a revenant on an obsessive revenge quest, a cursed warrior bound to an ancient oath, or an undead NPC the party would very much prefer not to have followed them home, this miniature brings serious narrative weight to any session. She's equally compelling as a display piece on the painting table — the open composition and layered surfaces offer plenty of room for atmospheric blends, OSL, and freehand work.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Are running a Ravenloft, Shadowfell, or dark gothic horror campaign
- Need a fearsome undead warrior as a solo boss or recurring antagonist
- Want a distinctive Player Character option for a revenant or oathbound fighter
- Enjoy painting dramatic, high-movement sculpts with complex layered clothing
- Are building out an undead warband with a commanding centrepiece
Encounter Hook: The party has been tracking a string of goblin raids across the frontier — only to discover the goblins aren't the threat. Something is hunting them first, leaving only two heads per camp as a calling card. When the Revenant Headhunter finally steps from the treeline into the firelight, sword still slick and trophies still fresh, the question isn't whether she's dangerous — it's whose name is at the top of her list, and how far down that list the party's own patron might be.

Mitz rolled Charisma. Simz rolled Charisma. Both succeeded. The humans had no say in any of this.
