Description

He doesn't call to the wolves — they simply appear, drawn to the lantern light and the old man who has never once turned them away.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Remus is a grizzled wilderness wanderer, his heavy coat worn from years beneath open skies and his flat cap pulled low against the wind. He holds a battered lantern in one outstretched hand and cradles a wolf pup close to his chest with the other, while two full-grown wolves flank him — one circling low and prowling, the other standing proud at his side. A gnarled, leafless tree rises behind him, completing a scene that speaks of deep forests, dark roads, and a bond between man and beast that goes far beyond training.

This is a scene-setting miniature through and through. Remus reads immediately as a Beastmaster Ranger, a druidic hermit, or a morally ambiguous NPC with a complicated relationship with the local wildlife — and perhaps with the local townsfolk. The sculpt is rich with surface detail: layered fur on each wolf, the folds and weight of Remus's long coat from front to back, and a craggy rocky base that grounds the whole composition. At 35mm scale, the group fills the table with real presence. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is at the centre of a forest encounter.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a Beastmaster Ranger or beast-bonded Druid for their player character
  • Want a compelling NPC — a forest warden, a poacher-turned-protector, or a reclusive wilderness guide
  • Are building a dark forest, Ravenloft, or Witcher-inspired campaign setting
  • Collect character-driven, narrative-rich miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The party hears the wolves before they see the light — three sets of amber eyes blinking in the treeline, then the slow creak of a lantern swinging from a weathered fist. Remus steps into the road and studies the party without speaking. One wolf lowers its head. He says only: "The eastern path is closed. Whatever reason you had for going that way, it's not worth it tonight."
