This is pose 3 of our Red Slaad range by Novaminis, and it captures the creature mid-lunge in a low, predatory crouch — weight forward, one hooked claw raised and ready to slash. The sculpt is packed with surface detail: erupting bone spurs across the skull and shoulders, bulbous warts mottled across the hide, and those unmistakable webbed feet splayed wide for purchase. The gaping mouth and sunken eye sockets give it that distinctive slaad vacancy — not rage, but hunger, and something horribly close to joy.
Red Slaads are the lowest rung of the slaad hierarchy, but that makes them no less dangerous on the table. Territorial, unpredictable, and carrying the chaos phage that can transform the unwary into new slaad hosts, they work as a solo ambush threat, a pack encounter, or the snarling foot soldiers of a Blue Slaad warlord. This crouching pose reads brilliantly as a creature caught mid-charge — caught, but not yet slowed.

Encounter Hook:
The village healer summons the party with urgency — three travellers arrived at dawn, raving about monsters in the ravine to the east. By midday, two of the three have begun scratching at their chests and muttering in a language no one recognises. The third points at a crude sketch she made of the creature and says only: it touched us. The party has perhaps a day before the chaos phage finishes what the Red Slaad started.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor marks may occasionally remain but are easily tidied up. Supplied unpainted and ready to prime.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
