Description

She arrived at the door not as a child, but as something far older — rabbit-eared, cloaked in shadow, and smiling like she already knew how the story ended.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

This is no fairytale heroine. The Red Riding Hood Bust from Great Grimoire reimagines the familiar figure as something altogether more unsettling — a hooded figure with elongated rabbit ears, flowing locks of sculpted hair, and a wide, knowing smile that belongs firmly in the darker corners of a fantasy world. Her clawed hands cradle a hat at her chest, and her heavy cloak drapes behind her in soft, considered folds. The expression is the centrepiece: part curiosity, part threat, entirely arresting.

Designed as a display bust rather than a combat piece, this sculpt rewards a painter's attention. The contrast between the smooth planes of her rabbit mask and the intricate texture of her hair and cloak gives experienced painters a rich range of surfaces to work across. Whether mounted on the shelf as a finished showpiece or used as visual reference for a D&D NPC with a dangerous secret, she commands the space she occupies.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Are looking for a characterful display bust to stretch their painting skills
  • Want a genuinely distinctive piece for a fantasy collector's shelf
  • Need inspiration for a manipulative fey patron, a masked villain, or a mysterious forest oracle
  • Enjoy dark fairy tale aesthetics and morally ambiguous characters

Encounter Hook:
The party has been following rumours of disappearances along the Thornwood road. At the edge of the forest, they find a small cottage — and at the door, a figure in a heavy cloak, rabbit-eared, smiling. She says she's been expecting them. She says she knows a shortcut. She says the wolf is the one they should fear. None of this, the party will later realise, was technically a lie.
