It came down from the blighted canopy on taloned feet, feathers slicked with something dark, its beak split wide into a grin that no bird should be able to make.

The Ravenous Crow is a creature of violent wrongness — part avian horror, part feral predator, all menace. This is pose 3 of the Corvid Abominations range by DM Stash, and it captures the creature mid-lunge: arms thrown wide, enormous curved talons extended, head thrown back in a shrieking roar. The layered feathers across its lower body contrast with the exposed, ribbed musculature of its torso, hinting at something that has moulted its outer form to reveal something far more dangerous underneath. A tattered feathered mantle drapes across its back, visible from the rear angle, adding a strange shamanic weight to what is otherwise a pure killing machine.

Whether you run it as a monstrosity haunting a corrupted forest, a fiend conjured through a botched ritual, or one of many in a flock of aberrant horrors descending on your players, this sculpt carries genuine threat at any scale. It works equally well as a tabletop encounter piece and a display centrepiece — the detail in the featherwork and claws rewards a careful paint job.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a large, imposing avian creature for wilderness or horror encounters
  • Are building a bestiary of corrupted or aberrant monstrosities
  • Want a boss-tier creature that reads instantly as dangerous on the battle map
  • Are collectors drawn to creature sculpts with strong silhouettes and layered surface detail

Encounter Hook:
The village had been leaving offerings at the old crow-stone for three seasons — grain, silver, a child's shoe. When the party arrives, they find the offerings gone and the stone cracked open from the inside. Something has been accepting the gifts. It is done waiting to be fed.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its scenic base are separate pieces and attach cleanly with superglue — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend keeping them together. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-checked resin work, minor imperfections can occasionally occur; any residual marks are straightforward to clean up before painting.

The cats have used their bonus action to look judgmental. As always, it was very effective.
