This is Pose 01 of our Ratfolk Scavenger range from Galaad Miniatures, and it captures the furtive menace of a back-alley brawler mid-strike. The sculpt shows a stocky, humanoid rat — fanged maw open in a snarl, ears pinned back, and eyes narrowed with predatory focus. In one clawed hand he raises a jagged, chipped blade; the other grips a short wooden baton wrapped with cord, arms spread wide in an aggressive, ready stance. He's kitted out in layered roughspun clothing — a belted tunic, wrapped leg bindings, and a fitted leather jerkin with buckled straps across the chest — with a set of iron rings dangling from his belt as trophies or tools. The cobblestone base grounds him firmly in an urban underworld.

Turn the miniature around and you'll find an equally characterful rear view: a large, bulging sack stitched together from mismatched hides dominates his back — the mark of a scavenger who never leaves a dungeon without taking something with him. This level of detail rewards collectors and painters in equal measure, making him as compelling on a display shelf as he is on a battlemat.

Encounter Hook:

But when they follow the trail into the drainage tunnels beneath the city, they find a sprawling bolt-hole stacked floor to ceiling with pilfered goods, and a ratfolk scavenger who very much does not want to be found. He's not alone — and he's already got a blade in hand.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative cobblestone base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will secure them together. The base is designed to complement the sculpt, and the two work best displayed as a set. Printed unpainted and grey, ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box as-is. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up.
